The first gallery in the museum of human violence opened in 2062, 27 years after the Giant Rupture. In 2062 there is a postcapitalist global economy and the world is at peace. Importantly it is recognised that nonhumans need protection and care, rather than to be exploited and abused and murdered for human use. The world is beginning to recover from human mismanagement, greed and colonisation of land, nonhumans and indigenous people.
The museums document the many forms of violence that existed pre Giant Rupture as a way of remembering all those who died, and all the ways that humans believed themselves exceptional and superior to other life forms, as well as other humans.
