This work was made to show in the first Seed_2065 (https://seed2065.uk/) show that I curated in late 2025: a call out brought 21 international artists together with a focus on peaceful futures rooted in harmony with the more-than-human world. Images of works in the show can be found on the website and also instagram: @Seed_2065

The wall text to accompany the work reads as follows (Nasus Y Ram is an alias I use commonly):

Nasus Y Ram, 2065. ‘TaggedCommemorationis’. Commissioned by the Museum of Human Violence in 2066, this work commemorates the end of the 2.6 million war against nonhuman animals that ended with the Rupture in 2036. ‘Dolly, Daisy and Polly’ represent three of the most commonly farmed nonhumans: here named with common monikers used by humans for sheep, cows and pigs. All farmed nonhumans were routinely ear tagged to enable legal tracing and denote ownership.

‘Dolly, Daisy and Polly,’ (2065) 1.22 m.  width x 1.83 m length. Charcoal, collage, ink and oil pastel.

‘Ear Tagged’. 88 Ceramic tags. Saggar and standard firing. Varied glazes.
