Visual Art for Social Justice and Change: developing a method.

Below I have added a powerpoint presentation that I made for the sharing event which took place toward the end of the MA.

I think it is useful in showing a summary of how my thinking developed, especially in relation to viewing work on social justice issues as necessitating a change in the view of art from an individual sensory experience toward dialogic practice.

The second aspect I would like to highlight relates to research itself: the presentation highlights a gradual narrowing of focus, while keeping to the same aims and basic concern.

From my experience teaching research, I think it is always best when the lens of the research becomes more narrow and refined. (I hope to continue narrowing).
